TunerPro RT is free (you can pay to register it, but you don't lose functionality without paying), and does more than ECMspy. You just need to buy or build an ECM interface cable. http://americansportbike.com/newdir/Item/A9317 As for getting it to work on a Mac, that can be tricky, but using Boot Camp to boot to Windows will work. I've seen mixed results trying to get everything working right using virtual machines and emulators, so I recommend directly booting into Windows with boot camp. |

is TunerPro windows only? or is there a mac version? My Mac is partitioned so I can run a VDST program for my Guzzi's but it's slow (winXP) |

ECM-SPY was developed for the XB range of bikes so not sure if it can be used with the X1s. As far as Macs, Bluetooth, Palms, WiFi and such I would stick with Windows if you can. Just use an old laptop with a battery that lasts long enough for a logged run if you need to do that. You will have enough problems without complicating the issue from the start. Good luck. |
