Used a pair on the Uly for a while now and great. Bought a pair of H1s for the car and amazing, like night and day. They are the same brand and cost $40 inc shipping in the UK. Two years warranty on the electronics and 90 days on the lamps. The best upgrade for the money on anything. |

First time out in the car and the wife asks me "Why have we been driving around with out lights all this time?" (Message edited by swampy on February 15, 2014) |

I've had these from this company for about a year and I think they are great value: http://www.plashlights.com/16W-LED-Driving-Light-P air--Wiring-Harness-detail.htm?productId=-84655&br owse=-10413&shopBy=-4561 They shipped quickly and even come with a wiring harness. The lights bolt right in where the front blinkers go with the hardware that comes with them and no modification. (my front blinkers are integrated into my turn signals.) At 16W they are super bright and I use the as day-time running lights. I think people notice me more often, thus don't pull out in front of me and such. I also upgraded my high beam in my headlight housing to this: http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/272544672.html It's super bright, fixed the problem with a bad reflector in the housing, and has lasted for awhile, but can't it recommend yet. I don't know how robust it is due to it having a little cooling fan in the back. Also taking apart and modifying the headlight housing was a real pain. |
