Ok, im prolly not the norm here, but i want to make an 08 xt tall rider friendly. It is coming w the factory low seat, so im guessing thats a good start! Any suggestions? Rework the stock seat? Aftermarket? Any info would be appriciated, this will be my first uly! |

Try to find yourself a short guy with a 2006 XB12X and trade. Those are the tall ones. Some have complained about some sort of seam that makes your legs fall off but I didn't have that issue. Once you retrofit that bike to a XB12X, you will never be happier. This is the first bike that finally fits me and makes me feel normal. |

Yes just get the tall seat. The original version of the seat has the seams like Nate mentioned, but they later released a revised version of it without the seams but still the same height. |

Black is probably better for a yellow bike anyway, the colored vinyl stains easily. |

Aside from the factory tall seat, or after market seat, you might be interested in lower foot pegs, longer brake and shift levers, and handle bar risers (all after market). I don't have experience with these (short), but know they're available |
