Well after fixing the problems the 10 bike is BACK on form.

No timing issues which would affect slow stuff "off clutch" in first gear and "power" in the ride. The bike "zooms" to 90 no problem and it will "cruise" at 110 easy.

I did notice, via the mirrors, at the time that the bike had picked up some more vibes. They have now gone and apart from a little in the 2500 rpm area they are near zero. Amazing and just as good on many a Jap four I have had in the past.

I had a damaged cable on the black plug to the ECM. It was near cut through and looks like someone else had done it. The BAS was breaking down IE Going bad. And two wires had rubbed through to the cores on the rear cylinder head. This was due to bad fitting from the factory. At least one of the wires was for the rear injector and would stop it working once in a while.

None of the wires that run in this part of the sub loom are Earths and all are controls or sensors. The 10 bike has had a lot of work done to protect its wiring it is just a shame that in this case they did not fit the wires into the guide right.

So Guys CHECK your wires and Earths because it needs to be the first place to start if you have problems with engine running issues.

At the moment the bike is running SUPER smooth and a real joy to ride. I can no longer tell the change in timing and once hot the vibes drop to near zero while riding. I can even put my helmet on the seat at idle and it never moves. Amazing.
