Has anyone tried running a 190 and if so how did it work? |

After my last puncture (third in the same tire) I installed a 190/55 Dunlop Q2 that I had on hand. Fitting the tire required shaving about 1/8 inch off of the tread's right edge. There's no affect on rideability at all. |

I have been running a 190 PR2 for the last 12,000k's does every thing its supposed to. Except can't get rid of the chicken strips due to tyre deformation, rim to narrow for a proper stretch. I will go back to a 180 when its due for replacement, no point in paying more for a little bit of rubber i can't use, and i hate chicken strips..... Try as i may i just can't get rid of em. Even have had my pillions boots scrapping.....whoops |

I'm pretty sure the Uly lean angle is 42 degrees before you start scraping the foot pegs. Not so sure if you can reach the edge of a 180 tread at that angle which makes a chicken strip inevitable. Maybe? |

Never had a 180 on the uly yet, had a 190 scorpion on it when i got it. Touch the pegs occasionaly on my rides. Did it in the wet 2 days after picking it up and a day after the new PR2 went on. |
