Anyone know p/n# for cable ? need replacement. Can I just wire it open? |

Yes, you can just wire it open or closed for that matter. You'll just lose a small amount of performance either way. Wheels will stay on and rods won't be thrown |

It does run better with the valve working. If I have to replace mine again, I'd order one of those cable repair kits; I think Amazon sells them. You just replace the broken cable and not the sheath. It's a bitch to snake that whole cable down past the wiring harness and various widgets inside the frame. just replacing the cable would be way easier. |

Or do it the way we used to replace wiring - attach the end of the new cable to the end of the old cable, and pull the old one out. It will guide the new one right into place. |

The only problem with that is that damned adjuster in the middle of the cable just above the frame. It can be done, but you may wind up pulling the plastic retainer loose on the inside of the frame that holds the wiring harness and cable off the engine, and believe me, it is a bitch to get snapped back where it belongs. |
