Might be either the switch on your clutch or the neutral switch has failed to is blocked with dirt?

The clutch switch is working fine and the bike thinks its "in gear". Trace the wire to the neutral switch, disconnect it and then prove the switch and the wire that goes into the loom. 131B to Earth will bring the lamp on the dash as long as the lamp is fine but can be replaced if its gone. 131A to Earth via a continuity meter and then toggle the gears to see it go open/close circuit.

Damn neutral sensor is behind the front pully. That is most likely the issue. Confirm by grounding the switch plug to the frame. If the light illuminates its that switch. Have to either make a tool or pull the pully to replace. $20 switch.

I remember someone making that tool out here to remove the neutral sensor without having to pull the pully. You may want to search under neutral sensor or something like that.
