The discussion on the heat shield thread made me curios about how the rest of you guys/gals position yourself on the seat. Butt against the passenger ledge or more tight against the tank? |

Most of the time I am positioned forward on the seat. On the freeway @ > posted speed I will slide back to the "passenger ledge." |

I'm right on the tank. during the summer I feel the heat most of the time I have over pants on. I have the heat blanket under the seat but it doesn't help how hot the gas tank gets. |

I tend to scoot around due to both the heat and to avoid discomfort from the seating position. I have the feeling that the Palmer cruiser pegs would help both issues. |

Ive gone back and forth with the low and high seats trying to figure which is better. The low's passenger ledge seems to far back and the front of the seat to skinny. The middle feels like theirs a step in the foam thats just uncomfy. Back to the high seat and Its right against the passenger rise sitting on a nice flat area for the bungholio to rest upon. |

I run the original '06 tall seat. I use every inch of it that my ass will reach. I continually move around to stay comfortable. Sometimes my legs will cramp so I move back as far as I can reach and let my legs dangle in front of the hard bags. After about three hundred miles I usually pull out the Air Hawk seat pad. I alternate using it and not using it based on comfort. |

On the tank for throttle. All over it and all four pegs on a long trip. Legs on the frame pucks in the country on a hot day. |
