I bought a set of these shipped for $170 and had them mounted today. I rode about 100 miles on them through interstate, 2 lane twisties, and gravel roads. Couple of things I liked: 1. Cost 2. Smooth ride 3. Grip on the interstate I thought they had a smoother ride than the stock pirellis I replaced. The 2 lane twisties I was pleased with the grip they had and I really hammered through some curves at higher speeds I had taken the same curves with before with the Pirellis and they felt more grippy. I rode down some gravel roads and thought they were no better or worse than the OEM Pirellis. Of course I liked the cost vs some of the other tires I looked at and considered. They are supposed to have a better longer wearing compound to them but we will see. No rain experience with them yet but if they prove themselves and wear well over the winter I will put a fresh set on before my Alaska trip this coming summer. I also put a set of Sintered brake pads on and they provided good stopping power and I got on them hard a few times. When I washed the bike they did squeak until dried out....not sure I can live with that. Of course your mileage may vary but this is my initial view of them.

I'm on the second set of ContiMotions that I put on my Guzzi Norge. They work reasonably well in most weather conditions; and last as long as any other tire I've tried. At $100.00 less per set than most other premium tires, I think they're a real bargain. |

I almost went for a set of those last tire change but they didn't have a rear in stock so I bought Bridgestone BT023's for not a whole lot more $$. Very happy with them so far but if the rear lasts less than 7K I'll try the Motions next. |

I have the ContiMotions on my '08 XBXT- good for the road, and they are wearing well, but they are the opposite of stable on even a slightly gravelly road. I'm looking for a tire that will give me good road handling and not prematurely soil my boxers on a dirt road. Going to try the Pirelli Scorpion Trails next. Def not an off-road tire, but I hope they are slightly better on dirt roads, which is all I can ask. The ContiMotions are very good on road, though. |

The scorpions are very composed on gravel and dry dirt. You will like them. |

As I live on a long gravel road and travel down several miles before getting to the hard ball (8 of my 50 mile RT work commute) I am very at home blasting down gravel roads. No issue for me on the one i ride daily. I ride my harley Ultra down the same road on the stock Dunlops and they are also fine for me....except when the road is wet then it suxs. I guess having the bike float some is normal to me on dry gravel with tires like this. I average 60mph on the Buell and the Harley on gravel. Good advice though |

Pretty cheap, considering I just dropped $400 on my set of 40/60 Conti's. I know, I over paid, I just gave a donation to my shop, which I don't mind, another member paid $323 shipped. Good deal, looks good too, got any pix of them mounted? |

I've gone through 3 rears, due to punctures. no way of knowing if it's the tires or my luck, but that's the only complaint I have with these tires for the riding i'm doing, so another one is going on. |

You can buy a Big Mac in almost any part of the world and it will be much the same. But you could put the same tire, on two bikes the same with the same rider, and they would not feel the same. Apart from a gazillion other reasons most rubber "beds in" to a riders own riding style after a few miles. |

" I've gone through 3 rears, due to punctures. no way of knowing if it's the tires or my luck, but that's the only complaint I have with these tires for the riding i'm doing, so another one is going on." Not liking hearing that as I am hard on rubber |

I've gone through two fronts and three rears of the conti tires and have no complaints. Great tires for the price. |

I got a Conti rear as an emergency "what was that noise?" repair coming back from BTF. No chicken strips after the trip home on the BRP. Kept it when I swapped back to a D616 and it is now on my 1125CR. Seems to be wearing decently, nice turn-in...but no way in hell I'd take it off-pavement. |
