Anyone have a thought as to which bulb is to be burning on "low beam"? Installing new 2010 light housing and not certain we hooked the harness up correctly. Thanks |

The right side is low beam. They used the same bulb and just aimed the left higher. |

Um...you can only mount it one way. The hole in the middle goes on the bottom, to bolt to the beak fender. |

Got that part, ears to the top, single hole to the bottom. We had the wiring harness off to add an on/off switch so that we can KILL the headlamps for various nefarious reasons. We installed the harness backwards. LOL All is well, thanks to this group. |

Last night was margaritas - loooong crappy day at work, didn't want to 'waste' any of the good stuff just going for quantity lol. Although I do have a nice new Glenmorangie d'oro 12 year old cask single that I need to try...maybe a nip or two of that with dinner tonight... |

Gentleman Jim is our adult fermented beverage of choice. OF course, being close to Wilkes County NC, there is always a chance that a mason jar of the good stuff might appear on the door step. LOL |

Knob Creek or Jameson are always willing partners for a quiet evening. Although a friend had a mason jar of apple pie flavored hooch procured in some backwoods of western PA. Deadly! |

Hey, what's up with the NO LIGHTS ON AT START UP? That is a nice looking bike. I like the white, second favorite to red. (Message edited by motorbike on December 05, 2012) |

Why Thank you, Thought no one would ever ask! Added a switch so that the lights can be shut off to start the Beast, as well as for those times when you want to run in Stealth mode. LOL Regards |

Thank you for the comments on the white ride. We have all of the plastic except camo and sunflower yellow. Pick a color and the bike can be transformed. Regards |

Hi Buelldualsport, what wires did you splice a switch into to shut off all your lights? Is the tail/brake light included in that stealth mode also? I like the idea of being able to shut down all the lights in case my charging system ever goes down, it'll allow me to ride a bit longer before the battery dies, thus killing the EFI. |

I'd leave the taillight on. It's LED, practically no draw anyway. Switch the headlight ground and you should be good. |

As Rat mentioned, we put a switch on the Ground side of both the Head Light and Tail light. The switch was added to the harness for the headlight and tail light. We did not modify the wiring harness for the bike. YRMV Regards |

I hadn't read this thread before, but now I'm seriously concerned to see "bourbon rocks" in the same thread as where you're working on headlight wiring for my new ride... |
