Found a 2010 XB12XT at a HD dealer with 4798 miles. All the bags are there and it's in real nice shape. There is over 2k difference in suggested price between KBB and NADA, what are the 2010's selling for? |

There are so few 2010s, I am not sure there is a good baseline. What are they asking for it? Choose the lower of KBB or NADA and lowball them from there. I doubt they want the bike on their floor. |

Well NADA for a 2010 is $10625 for the XT which seems real high seeing a 2009 XT only books for $8005 on NADA. KBB doesn't have a price for the XT but they show $7325 for a 2010 X. The dealer is asking $9295 and have had it on their floor at least the last 6 months. It's also getting cold up here and the 2013's are already showing up so I think that will help. I know that ultimately it's worth what someone is willing to pay, I'm just trying to get an idea what they have been bringing so I can figure out what I should be willing to pay. |

$8k or so sounds like a reasonable offer to me. Maybe an extra $500 or so if you are generous and assume they did a full service on it for you. On the other hand, in terms of bang for the buck, $9k is a bargain all day long. Its a very nice very well sorted bike that will serve you well. And with the larger crank and updated oil system and bearings, that's a 50k to 100k mile lifespan bike easy. |

I paid $7k for a 2009 XT in mint condition with comfort kit and EBR Racing ECM and only 9000 miles to give you and idea of market pricing. |

I would offer $5000 cash and look dead at him when you say it to read his face. Depending on the look you get, you'll get a feel for how close you are to the magic number, but that's just me. |

I'd take it for one long ride and look the bike over very diligently. If it all looks good, make them an offer that makes sense to you and then you might end up with a very rare Buell. I'd love to have a 2010 ULY but have already got a 2006 that seems to want to run and run. Remember that a used bike means someone else has already taken the big depreciation hit for you, in.surance is less, sales tax is less, and it's partially broken in. Conversely, if you dick around too much, some other very interested guy you have no idea about is going to out bid you and you'll feel sick about it for a long time. |

The only thing that sweet bike needs is a tall seat and that is usually is easy enough to find for around 100 bucks. |

I made this list back at the beginning of September. It's all of the 2008-2010's I could find for sale at that time. Might be of use to you:
The NADA and KBB were for a 2009 with 30k miles. |
