Since I'm running Barkbuster Storms (and loving them) on my Uly, I'm considering getting the B66 Barkbuster specific bar-end weights. My concern is that at 180 grams (6.3 oz) they are less than half the weight of most of the more traditional bar end weights out there. Can anyone comment on their effectiveness? I sprung for the bar weights at twisted throttle for my Storms. Not a big difference that I can tell. Though I should take one off and then ride it. That would tell me a lot. Oh well, they were cheap. In my opinion, I wish I had more shield options for my barkbusters. The Storms still let some air get up my jacket sleeves. a small extension would be nice. |

So has anyone else have opinions on the Barkbuster weights? Too light to even bother with? I am ready to pull the trigger on the Storms, but definitely want to add weights. I had the HVMP's on my last Uly and loved them. Stopped my nostrils from itching. Thank God for flip up full face helmets. :-p I just got confirmation from HVMP that their weights will NOT work on the Barkbusters as they are only designed to be used on the stock hand guards. |
