I may have traxxion shorten my leaking rear shock half an inch - experiences?
Bar back recommendations? Would want to raise the forks to match the shock... thanks for your time gang...

Less ground clearance is about it. Rox riser works well. Wouldn't really need to lower the front, tho. I lowered the rear 1" & left the front alone. It seemed O.K. to me. YMMV

Thanx murf - did ya get noticeably improved footing ? Did you mod your shock or get a T model?

I changed star kickstand to a XT kickstand after lowering the rear shock with Jason's collar

I used a lowering collar also. It worked fine except I overpowered the spring when loaded up for touring.
Keep us posted on the rebuild. I want to lower mine so I can run the tall seat & still reach the ground. I cut my stock kickstand down also.

I used Knight Designs. They are a vendor on here, I think. There is also another outfit but their name escapes me at this time. I like the K D 's just fine & they were cheaper.
