I have a 2006 Uly and have installed the 2007 fork springs. I don't have the 2007 manual with the suspension settings tables. Does anyone have the manual in a PDF file that they would be willing to email to me? If not the whole manual, just the pages with the suspension settings tables. PM me and I'll send you my email address. TIA George |

I don't have my manual handy (I scribbled the 07 settings in my 06 book when I did the swap), but I hope you used the 07 fluid levels too.... |

Please don't link to pirated service manuals. Thank you (Message edited by Froggy on July 31, 2012) |

"I don't have my manual handy (I scribbled the 07 settings in my 06 book when I did the swap), but I hope you used the 07 fluid levels too...." Yep, I did. Plus, there are several threads with that info on the board but none with the info I'm looking for. |

OK, if you go to your 06 manual and fill it in this way, you'll have the 07 settings: Going DOWN the columns: Front preload 6,5,5,4,4,3,3 Compression: 1.25,1,1,1,.75,.75,.75 Rebound: 1.75, 1.625, 1.625, 1.5,1.5,1.25,1.25 Rear turns in: 4,8,12,16,20,20,20 compression: 2,1.75,1.5,1.25,1,.75,.5 rebound unchanged AFAIK there is no component difference on the rear, but I set my entire system to the 07 specs when I did my swap and I'm very happy. |

Oh, and it says run them 1 weight range heavier with cases. |

I'm in the process of adding all the suspension charts to the New Owner/FAQ section http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/688767.html |

Froggy and Ratbuell, Thanks for the info. Am I correct in assuming that the adjustments for firming or softening the recommended settings are the same as for the 06? |

Yes, all your "controls" and adjustment points/directions are the same. Write the numbers I put up above in your manual, and it will become clear what base settings to use for each weight range |
