I'm buying another uly today after work. Its a black 2008 xb12xt. I really like the look of the blue and thats my first choice but this one was a good price. Congrats on the new bike. We liked the blue so much we got two in that color so won't be any help there. You are on the right path, grasshopper, blue is the fastest color. I'm quite smitten with the yellow and barricade orange plastics and would be all over either if I felt the need for a wardrobe change or had to go undercover. My red connie riding buddy asks how I tell my uly twins apart (I guess they'd be fraternal). On the surface it's all about the beak!!!! | ||

I have blue 09 and wouldn't mind the black as I would probably paint mine with bed liner some time in the future. I do have some scratches though. I can take some close ups this weekend and shoot them to you in an email to see if you are interested. | ||

I have a blue 08 and like the blue. With that being said I saw an OD green bike that had the rhino lining colored OD green and sprayed on the major parts. Love the way it looked....but then I am an old soldier so.... | ||

Congrats on the new Uly! But be very careful because your not use to riding one as fast as the Black Ulys are! You'll see a huge increase in speed right away! But the Blue Ulys are faster than the road grader colored ones! lol | ||

Wow! Did not expect such a large response. Got a phone call within minutes yesterday of posting this and found a gentleman by the name of Dave who wants to trade me straight up for all the plastic. Thanks Dave. Starting to wonder if I should have kept the black lol. | ||

My '09 came blue. I have since bought used Barricade Orange, translucent Hero Blue, and have Valencia Orange on order. The neighbors can't figure out why I have so many Ulys. Maybe I need to add black........ | ||
