How come some models have the painted front fender and no upper fender when some of the same year have the fork guards and the dual fender. Looking at a local 2008 uly 25th aniv and it has the painted fender only. Kinda liked the look of the dual fender. |

First, there's not a drop of paint on an XB. Metal is powdercoated; body parts are injection-molded color (the plastic itself is the color). Difference you're seeing is, split fender/fork guards is the X model. Colored fender is the XT model - a "street" version of the "adventure" Ulysses X. The X came stock with longer suspension travel, reinforced rims, no bags, and the different fender. The XT is lower, has standard XB rims, comes with three bags, and has the colormatched fender,. |

No Buell has had any painted parts since 2003, it is all powder coat on metal and molded in colors for plastics. The X and XP come with a 4 piece fender including the beak, available in grey or black, while the XT came with a one piece fender available in most of the same colors as the airbox and flyscreens. |

Looked a little closer and it clearly says xb12x on the handlebars of the yellow 2009 on ebay. It is just being misrepresented in the ad. |

The XT came with both side cases, top case and all bracketry as original equipment. Seeing the red ('08) XT with the top case and top case brackets but without the side case brackets in place is not a good thing. How did you overlook that Froggy? 1313 |

He was asking about fenders, he didn't mention anything about the bike being unsafe to operate Plus, I only looked at the first picture which only shows the front view, the racks probably wouldn't be visible if they were on anyway. |

I bought the XT and have just fitted the X lower fender, took me almost 2 months to source a lower X fender and then was offered 2 on the same day! I fitted a genuine KTM 990 SM upper fender which I thinks looks real cool, haven't seen one fitted to another Ully yet! |
