Brand new xb owner after years of admiration . The ride home from Ohio threw a 21 & it is the exhaust servo I believe??? Can I buy an eBay or source another servo & solve the problem? Looking forward to a another good ride tomorrow ! Dean Tennessee 615 545 1111 text friendly dean@learntoride.org |

There was an upgrade on the actuator. The original used plastic gears that would strip. I went through 2 of them. The last one used metal gears and has not been a problem. If you buy e-bay look to see if the case is screwed together or riveted. Screws mean plastic gears and rivets mean metal gears. Don't even waste your time on plastic. |

Dean, if you are replacing the exhaust valve actuator it will be replaced under warranty. 5 years or 18'000 miles I believe. Alternately Buell Parts sells them along with others. Just had mine replaced on my "new to me" 08 XT. |
