he does get a little jealous... I'd watch him if I were you... he'll jump on you back like a spider monkey and try to stick his banana in your ear... |

Wolf, Request. Arrange highest to lowest with a placement number to the left. Paul56 is leading the pack as numero uno and then Tachout will be 2 and so on. |

Paul56 is leading the pack as numero uno and then Tachout will be 2 and so on. Nobody is leading anything yet. We wont know how many miles a rider has put on until November 10th. For all we know... Paul56 may be tired of riding and park it for the season... I kinda doubt that'll happen but we need to wait and see... |

I was only suggesting that it is like a horse race and during the race the lead can change horses many times until they cross the finish line. |

that is a fact... but this is a blind race and we wont know who is gonna pop out of the tunnel until the end... for all y'all know.. I could be doing Ironbutt rides every weekend and sand bagging my miles |

Ah! It's a blind race eh? I wasn't sure if we were going to do monthly updates or anything of the like. But now I see.... |

I have a question. It looks like I'm going to have to sell my XT. Can I compete on a Moto Guzzi? I still will be late out of the gate. I won't be able to ride a motorcycle until early May at the soonest. |

I'm competing with 2 Yamaha's, and I know others are using different bikes as well. Should be good to go! |

The beard is almost restored. The last time I shaved was the morning of my surgery. |

"For all we know... Paul56 may be tired of riding and park it for the season" Ha! It's just luck that my "season" is from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31. If I can keep tailgating hit-and-running a**holes away from me I could be up to 115k or so by Nov. 10. Not competing with anyone, just getting back and forth to work in the least amount of time, with the least amount of fuel and the most possible fun of any transport method yet designed by man. |

Luckily the Uly comes equipped with Permagrin :P I won't be winning anything with my 21,000 miles, but what the heck |

Crusty, I did a search to find out what health issue you just went through. Heart valve repair surgery. Sounds like you are recovering nicely since you plan to be back in the saddle in May. Glad you survived such a potentially dangerous procedure. |

Actually, Craig, They replaced my Aortic Valve with a 21 mm mechanical valve made by St. Jude in Minnesota. According to the Surgeon,it has shown 100% reliability over a 15 year study, and it's made from Stainless Steel and Carbon. I'm still recovering, and will be for a while. The early May date is me being a little bit optimistic. I won't get back on a bike until the Surgeon gives me his O.K. I was told that I can not drive a car for at least six weeks after the surgery. It will be at least that long and probably longer before I get clearance to ride. All I know for certain is that there's no way in hell I can ride at the present time. |

John, You are part robot now and can probably mind meld with your Uly through your respective dongles. God speed your recovery. |

I know what you mean Mark! I am about to mow the fourth grass cutting this year! Not quite six days in between. Sheeese! This time I am taking the front loader off so I can go faster. JD will mow the grass at 8 mph when I am wearing my back brace and not using the cup holder! I have done about 1000 miles in my truck this week on a project that requires it to move a trailer so that I can work on the parts on it. Other wise I would be riding the bike for the 160 mile round trip every day. |

Well so far I have managed over 100 miles in a couple of weeks. Just too busy to get out, and not busy enough to make it a "ride for work". |

Now that Froggy has an 08 XT, I'm guessing he will win this competition since he will be riding in comfort. |
