I was at Bergdale H-D, Albert Lea, MN on Saturday, almost 1 year from my original post on this same bike. They still have the brand new 2007 XB12STT, for the same price, $10,290.00. I guess they really don't want to sell it do they?

It's not even complete.....where's the number plates? I'd make them knock off 5g's for the missin' parts.... Seriously, if they hang onto it for a while, someday it will be a collectors item (new never registered bike). Can't be many of these new bikes left. Maybe an overly positively thinking dealer, with very deep pockets, who has time to wait for the 20 year 'Classic' threshold? |

Hell, there are probably still a few new tube framed Buells sitting on dealer's floors. I wonder if any of our Badwebbers who still work at dealerships could come up with a list of the remaining, new unsold Buells? It would be very interesting to see what's left. |

I asked about the number plates last year and the dealer told me they had them in storage because they get scratched up when people drag their feet over the bike. (So I'm guessing they may have a few scuffs?) If I'm not mistaken, I think he also said they replaced the stock front fender with one from an XB12XT. Don't the STT's usually have the beak fender? |

They were selling those new at Dillon Brothers for 4 grand. I said something about it at the time and I'm pretty certain a Badwebber came to Omaha and bought one for his wife. |

EG -Haha yeah, that was me. I drove from Wisconsin to pick up a brand new 2008 stt in Omaha last spring for my girlfriend. She now has about a thousand miles on it (not bad for her first season riding). |

Chris, Sorry if I caused you any grief with your gal, but she probably doesn't read this stuff anyways. You got a smoking deal on that 08 stt. Can you imagine that Bergdale wants 2.5 times as much. What shiisters. |

Craig- Its all good, she was all for the idea and we drove down there together to get it. She has the itch to ride more than I do right now haha! |

Make mental note of that STT for the future bankruptcy sale... Back in the 70s I offered an overstocked dealer $1000 for a new RD400 that listed for $1200. They laughed... Less than a year later they went bankrupt and I bought the same bike from the dealer that bought their inventory for $800! |
