If you mandate too much, then you start interfering with Darwin’s Natural Selection and we'll end up keeping the really dumb ones alive to propagate. Can I get an Amen here? .. |

Froggy, can you get the front wheel off the ground on that thing? I'm guessing the rear tire just spins when you try to wheelie? |

Isn't Froggy the one who said he bent both rims running over a Squirrel? There is a Reason for Max pressure limits... b. |

""Isn't Froggy the one who said he bent both rims running over a Squirrel?"" I thought squirrels were squishy inside. . |

Maybe it's cheeks were full on hard nutz? No give in tire, low contact patch... bent rims+ Traction... Not safe? b. |

Froggy doesn't have a squirrel detector/avoider? Shame, shame! All self respecting geeks will be sorely disappointed in him! How could he possibly feel safe! j/k Froggy. |

quote:I'll agree to disagree, Froggy. Yeah, the nanny state mandated them for cars, like many other nanny state mandates. Now folks have to buy expensive new sensors when tire changers hit them, which is not an infrequent occurrence. You nanny state kids may like it but I don't.
Well that certainly ain't true. If the tire changer destroyed my sensors, I wouldn't want him doing my tires since he is clearly incompetent. Also in the event a sensor was damaged, the customer is not the one that will be paying for replacement. Nanny state? Yea right. I for one am glad they are mandated, they reduce wasteful fuel consumption due to under-inflated tires, and improve everyones safety. Perhaps your tune will change if you or your family are injured in a wreck due to a blowout.

No, because if that was the case, we would of bred out the stupid a millennium ago.

It wheelies fine when dry, but it has too much power to do it in the wet. My XB would wheelie sometimes in the wet, but this one I can't seem to get to come up at all.

I blame the squirrel but I don't know what really caused it. I stopped for gas and saw the dents in the lip, the squirrel was the only thing I could think of. Also, I was running low pressure (36F/38R) at the time, Diablo Stradas on XB wheels.

Does that exist? I have radar detectors and lightning strike detectors. |

'No, because if that was the case, we would of bred out the stupid a millennium ago.' We would HAVE bred out the stupid a millennium ago. Just pointing out the ironic. Amen, Johnboy. |

quote:No, that is the correct way. Less drag so you get better fuel economy.
Dunno about that, but I do get less rain water in the cap when I have it on that way.
