Took me in total 3 hours. Would not have made it without the help of my loving wife. Now my bruised back hurt a little more(due to a crash with my beloved Road King), but I got it done. Temperature shall drop the next days, so I had to do it today. Did not remove/ replaced the ECM front bolt. The biggest pain was the front scoop. I taped everything to prevent scratches. I'm a half way happy fellow tonight. Still have to think which bike will replace the King. I'll tend to the new Switchback. Have to see it in real first. Ride safe Werner |

Good job. If you find out your right leg feels HOTTER after the comfort kit install, it's due to the right side scoop forcing hot air out of the gap between the top of the right side frame rail and the bottom of the seat on that side. Either seal off the frame openings above the rear cylinder head with adhesive-backed HVAC aluminum tape, or run a piece of automotive weather stripping on the top of the right side frame rail to seal off the gap between the seat and the frame on that side. |

Have not had a chance to ride the bike yet. I'm still on sick leave. Had a aftermarket scoop installed plus Gripster frame pads and had burn marks on my leg. Riding in Buell Adventure pants, not Jeans. This was the reason to bite the bullet and buy the Comfort Kit. Also US dealer can / will not ship parts to Europe anymore. New Harley policy. This was the last chance to get the kit for a decent price. Was @ $ 100,- less then in Germany. Ride safe Werner |

We got an FLD in a few days ago. I work at High Country H-D/Buell. Since becoming a Bueller, not much from the MoCo interests me, but THAT is a cool looking bike. I'll take it out for a test ride soon. Polish your headpipes for a little less radiated heat. Noticeable difference on my 09 Uly with the Comfort Kit and Maximum heat-blanket. Z |

They make an airflow kit for those frame gaps on both sides that look nice and they work. I put aluminum tape over the gap between the shock cover and the new scoop piece under the seat to keep the seat and ecm cooler. With the seat off and idling, wait till the fan comes on and you'll see what I mean. Lot of freshly heated air thru that gap. |
