I am interested in getting a XT for my next bike. I have ridden many crotch rockets and most recently Harleys. Is there anyone in the Phoenix/Chandler area that would switch bikes with me for a short controlled test ride? I know it goes against all the rules but this might be the only way to test the waters before I purchase one. Again you ride my Harley with me while I try out your Ulysses. Let me know (if you think I am crazy!). |

I think your crazy if you don't buy XT so much more fun than a Harley. |

If you were in SoCal I'd let you ride my X, but like Dennis_c said, I think you're crazy if you don't buy the Buell. |

I'm over in Vegas if you want to go for a ride. Also a Harley owner so I can attest to the amazing nature of these Uly's. |

Good for you Mark, get him on that Buell. I think he will realize that the Uly is a different kind of fun. I did the same for my father-in-law a week ago and I think we both had fun. He just dropped some change in Sturgis on his Road King for seat, exhaust, power commander and handlebars. I will have to admit, it was fun getting on the hammer of that chrome couch. The noise it made pushing that massive chunk of metal up to 70 (very quickly) was impressive. I think we both got off each other's bikes with a new respect for "a different kind of fun" He had as good of a time on my XT, but was just way too short for it! Have fun! |
