With all the new ULY owners I thought I'd bring this back to see the light of day. Mine works as well as the day I made it and I still look at it most every time I get off the bike. Here's a photo tutorial on how to build your own and even where to get the temp probe. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/disc us.cgi?pg=next&topic=142838&page=462457 |

My orignal Electraglider temp probe dipstick has logged thoundsands of miles on two different Ulys and still works good. (Message edited by debueller on July 11, 2011) |

Despite all my attempts, mine leaked to the point that I switched to the Dark Horse one from American Sport Bike. Well worth the $8.22 I got it for second hand on ebay! |

Froggy, The only ways that unit would leak would have been if you tightened or loosened it in the hole using the bezel of the temp probe instead of the 3 prongs of the original dipstick. Or if it leaked around the original dipstick threads then I'd gladly replace it at my expense. Let me know. |
