He's gonna build some incredible motorcycles. I wonder if he'll support older bikes somehow? |

>>>I wonder if he'll support older bikes somehow? Legally . . absent some agreement to the contrary (not entirely out of the question) he can't get anywhere near them for another 5 or 6 years. HD owns all the rights and responsibilities commensurate with all Buell Motorcycle products. There will be a diversity of opinion about that but I don't see Erik taking on the bear . . . . but I can think of about 22 "win-win" scenarios based on the simple assumption that they likely don't want it and it wants it done right. We'll see. |

Even though I plan on owning my XB as long as possible, I hope Erik keeps moving forward, not looking back. Somebody smaller like Al at American Sportbike, or big like Dennis Kirk, could do a great job and make a decent living and do everything over the internet. We can help people either fix them ourselves, or find and promote shops that can be trusted. |

I absolutely still LOVE my Uly, but if he builds a new, E-mproved version........I'll pony up. Not $40K, but a reasonable price point, I'm there. |

Somehow, just having a bike that would allow you to say something about 'droppin' the AX' seems worth the cost of admission...as long as you didn't *really* drop it. |

I don't want to hear that. The MS is the perfect motorcycle in my book! Just over a year left on my loans for my 1125R and 1125CR. |

Just over a year left on my loans for my 1125R and 1125CR. That should work out just about right then, as long as you don't mind continuing to make payments! |

Assuming these bikes are under $30k it should be no problem. I could buy the RS tomorrow, but I would be stretching myself thin for the next year. Next summer I can just tighten the belt a notch for a month or two till the 1125's are done and live with whatever it is Erik temps me to get. Hopefully it has all the goodies of the Multi including that electronic suspension! |
