This is just a post of one Uly problem and not the "be end and all" of problems or a cure all. If you are riding your bike and you find, once it is hot, that the engine does not run the same once you stop and then try to ride it again. Like it does not always idle the same, the power is not the same, a bad vib/lumpy engine and it does/can be worse/better but does not stay the same even after a TPS reset on the 06 bikes? That is a earth resistance problem at the point the wire loom/battery negative mounts to the sub frame. I only found this problem by luck but now the bike runs perfect with a Remus can and fueler. No re-maps, no Dyno time, correct throttle response, no plug problems (the original ones were still good at 12k), stable idle and good/fast pick up. It will even pull up hill in third at 1200 rpm with a little throttle control. |
