Yes. Keeps most of the dust, mud, crap out. I will be riding off the pavement a large percentage of the time this year. The Pryor Mountains are big on the list.  | ||

I slide them from the top down...which was easy since I had to replace my leaky fork seals anyway. These also require that you cut the sleeves down to fit...which means that they cover the entire lower tube.  | ||

You can't really slide them from the bottom up, can you? Guess it's something I'd want to add when I'm changing fork fluid. | ||

FYI You can get these fork skins with a velcro seam so you do not have to disassemble the fork tripple tree to install them. I have them on my Uly & 1125CR. Easy install and they stay in place just fine. 10,000 miles on the Uly since installation. | ||
