Do these really work well? They look like they might shift or rotate a lot if one plays in the dirt frequently. |

I have these on my 09 Uly and they do not shift or rotate after mounted. They are great if you stand up riding in the rough stuff, or just riding down the highway. |

Good to know. I stand up a lot. Being a big dude, I was worried that they'd shift a lot on me. |

I have 2" risers & they are fine - but they do stretch the throttle & clutch cables. Anyone know of longer throttle cables, or if made-up longer cables can be used. Cheers |

If you narrow the bars and bring the perches closer together you gain a little cable length. I cut 7/8" off each end with a pipe cutter. |

I used the 1" risers from Precision Engineering. They did the job for me. http://www.preeng.com/xcart/product.php?productid= 5&cat=0&bestseller=Y |

You can gain some more cable slack by rerouting them. |

"Pre eng does have risers." I believe that those are the ones I'm using and they fit great and didn't require re-routing of cables, etc....... |

Mnviking. I did what Ronmold has done. I cut 25mm off each end of the bars and rotated the bars up. It may sound strange but it works great on the road as the bars are Enduro style and make steering over sensitive for me. Off road use riser blocks but I would use custom bars myself. I am 6'7" myself. |

6'7"?? You're a tall drink of water my friend. I've always wished the stock bars were both wider and higher. |

I've always wished the stock bars were both wider and higher. That sounds like you're inviting a comment from Froggy, I've heard him call the stock bars ape hangers before. But I'm with you, a little higher would suit me just fine. |
