It has always been said that the ball bearing type head race/steering head bearings would be better with a taper/roller type but none have ever been found that fit. This company on E-Bay have them and I have asked them if they fit ok and they say they do at 1 inch ID and 1.98 inch OD for both bearings. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&it em=250750756910&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123 Just a thought. Who knows. OEM is 25mm ID, 50mm OD, 10.5mm high OD and 14.75mm high ID for both bearings. |

Hi, I just fitted those bearings to the Uly of my friend the fit perfect the trick is to put them in the freezer the day before install to make a bit easier to fit them in, and prepare a good amount of grease for them. If I ever do need to change mine I'd get those bearings for my bike, plus the dust seal looks really good. |
