I have an unusable primary cover that has a broken ball ramp shoulder. Obiewan also had one break and he repaired it. Here is a thread he did on his repair with very good photos: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/282980.html His actual repair looks to be better than new since he used a steel insert and screws to hold the insert in. When mine failed it was very difficult to find a new one, and it cost almost $300. My Uly was down for over a month during peak riding season. Is there anyone that is doing repairs on these primary covers that might be interested in fixing my broken one for a reasonable price? I’m concerned if mine fails again my Uly will be down for an unreasonable amount of time while searching for a replacement. Having a spare on hand at home would give me a lot of peace of mind.
