Would one of these be better then an Erik Buell Racing ecm? They are cheaper and you can tune on the fly. Any one running one of these? The new MotorCyclist mag has a Buell Tribute Bike that uses one.

Well every one has their own choice, i run a remapped ecm, and works perfect, ecm reads engine sensors, why use a tuner that tells lies to the ecm? a well remapped or a Erik Buell Racing should be the best option, from my point of view

I run one of Erik's computers in my Uly, and LOVE it. No need to tweak anything at all.

I'm also in the "why lie to the computer" boat. All a "tuner" like the TwinTec does is intercept sensor signals, and convert them to values that you tell it you want it to show the computer. Set it wrong, there's no safety and expensive bits go "pop".

If you're going to do it...don't do it cheap, do it RIGHT.
