So I'm breaking down my 06 Uly for the winter and notice this part # on my ECM, Y0152.3AB 0648. I think to myself, that looks alot like an Erik Buell Racing part number. I go to their web site but can't find the exact match(close). I emailed Erik Buell Racing but they haven't responded after 3 days. I suppose they feel this isn't an information hotline and unless I'm buying something no need to email me back. So I'm asking the OTHER experts, is that an OEM part # from HD, or could it be an old Erik Buell Racing race chip? I bought the bike used last spring and it already had an aftermarket exhaust and K&N air filter on it, so who knows, maybe it had a chip installed to?(wishful thinking) Thanks. |

If its a race ecm it will say in huge stamped lettering race use only etc etc. there is no mistaking it. |

It is the stock ECM. Erik Buell Racing just uses a similar part numbering system. Just about all the Race ECMs, regardless of Erik Buell Racing or the old P&A one, have "RACE USE ONLY" on it. |

Froggy, Could you "transplant" a race ecm into a stocker? How hard would it be? Is it a quick case swap? |

Not easily. They aren't "serviceable" so they are pretty much glued shut. That said, Race ECM data can be put on the stock ECM if you knew what you were doing. |
