Rode a r1200gs and it fits me better, 6' 4' and need the room. If I sell my uly where is the best place to list it. 2009 xb12xp, full police kit, red and blue changed to white strobes, siren, bags, tall and low seat, birch white and black skins, madstrad windshield and original factory screen. 2" risers, 6500 miles one year left on warranty. |

thats what I am trying to find out, how much should I ask? Its a rare bike, only 137 made, and I have not seen one yet that kept the factory police kit intact. |

Timbobuell, If you can I would hold onto that bike. It's going to worth a fortune some day. |

How long does it take for a unique, discontinued, modern bike to become worth a fortune? 20-40 years? What is a fortune? Why is the sky blue? TGIF... |

You should be able to get about what you paid for it. In order for it to be worth a "fortune" in later years, the bike would have to be stored properly or, at best, seldom ridden. Waste of a perfectly good Uly. I'm interested in an XP, but would have to sell my XT first. |

List it on both sites if your trying for coverage. That's the cool Uly. |

From what I've seen, retail ranges from as low as the high 6's to the upper 7's. The market will continue to adjust, but my suspicion is that they have "bottomed" and other than a steady regular depreciation, prices will be relatively level from here on. JMHO |

Sorry, not trying to start anything. I would think if any of the ulys were destined to become highly collectable it would be the police bikes with only 137 ever produced by a company that no longer exists. Not necessarily worth a fortune but eventually worth more to someone who collects bikes. Timbobuell, what you do with it is your business...sell it or ride it. I would personally keep it and ride it |
