Anyone thinking they would like to change things up a little? I would like to trade my 2008 1125R for a uly or xt. I put an ad in the classified under trade 1125R for uly or xt. If anyone has any interest let me know thanks-chris |

Chris - now that I think about it, one of the XTs that I sold is in PA right near Gettysburg. Last I talked to the guy he had it for sale...but I'll be damned if I can remember his name off the top of my head. Might check CL, I think he had it on there for a while. |

Being that I'm a former atv'er I think the regular uly is more for me |

No way. Thank you. Making me feel that Erik Buell Racing's first new street bike will need to be the "Hercules". You know a Uly with a very strong stature. Besides, about the time it is ready for production and dealers are set up, there will be a lot of Uly owners ready to "renew" their machines. |

I knew this would happen as soon as Dan got one, and not too long later I knew you would be looking to do the swap as well. The resivoir ride needs some dirt roads thrown in for next year. Good luck on your search. Just don't be jumping too many curbs, the wheels bend pretty easily. I have two slightly bent rims from the potholes in good ol pa. |

Yeah, a Hercules should be able to do some strong lifting. |

Congrats on the new ride. Did you end up trading your 1125 for it and when is the first all Uly ride? |

Ain't gonna happen, my CR isn't too bad off road once you back off the suspension settings (Although the pods like to fill up with rocks) |

Hey Chris, I'm native to your state and a STEELER fan since my beginning, so eat poop and die. And I wouldn't buy an 1125r from someone who had to wait this long to get a Uly! LOL! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! J/K fella! I will be back to Pa! |

Thanks everyone. This is a neat bike. I kinda felt bad leaving my 1125R yesterday at the dealer with the uly in the trailer until I got home and went on a 50 mile ride. I don't feel bad anymore. As to Alumicraft Uly parts, give it time. I'm sure between Dan and I we will have some stuff. I'm already thinking up something for mine. I had bought some diamond plate for my blast to make a tidy tale but I'm going to sell the blast. I'm not doing a tidy tail for the uly but when I get some time you'll see. If you want to pay a lot of money for a super nice 1125R here is the link to my old girl http://www.hdwinchester.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp ?sid=03429682X11K23K2010J8I49I39JAMQ1181R0&veh=549 95&pov=1928478 |

I've got one of each (and a bunch of others to boot), and while I like each bike for different reasons, if I could only have one Buell, it'd be my Uly. It isn't the fastest, or best handling, or certainly not the prettiest, but it does everything pretty darned well, it's comfy, it's easy to work on, and it lets me go further in a sitting than any bike I've ever had. But it's a good think nobody is making me have to choose... |
