The previous owner of my 08X had the 10 rear wheel installed as a preemptive thing when he heard of the bearing problems. I have the 08 wheel and axle that he said is fine and I can't see any issues with. Do these have any value? |

When the bearings in my second wheel failed, a great guy on this board offered to sell me his 06 wheel for $50 plus shipping. When the wheel arrived it looked practically brand new and had a tire on it with plenty of tread. My plan was to replace the tire, but I ended up putting 10k on it before replacing it with a new one. I'd say the $100 or $125 offered above is a fair price. (Message edited by dirt on November 09, 2010) |

I have an '06 wheel, also replaced pre-emptivly, good orange bearings and axle with a Sync w/ only 800 mi on it. I need to get it out of the garage. |

I got at least 4 spare rear wheels at this point, I almost have one of every color! I'll slowly switch to 2010 wheels. |
