Did a little exploring during Bikes Blues & BBQ a few weeks ago. These were all taken in the middle of the Ozark National Forest. Not really close to any towns, but I found the gravel road a few miles north of I-40 on HWY 23. 58 miles later, I got back to asphalt, only dropped the bike once while on the gravel

You're not supposed to take an XT off the tarvy, especially the red ones. |

My brand new fork seals agree with that statement. As would the rear Angel ST in these pics were it not for the rock that put it out of commission. |

Pk, My Dunlop 616s do very well on trails like this, if you plan on doing more off roading.

You need to make some mods. http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120486 &page=186 Pardon the link, but I can't post pix off my air card. |

Nice Pics! Where are you at in OK? I'll be back there before too long (OKC Metro) and will be looking for Buellers to hook up with. |

Itileman - this bike is damn near perfect without mods. I don't need all the farkles that some people go for. As you can see in the pictures, a map and some duct tape on the airbox eliminates my need for a GPS unit. Right now, A 2010 rear wheel is the only thing I am serious about adding. Erik Buell Racing ECM and a Special Ops pipe would be nice, but I can live without them. Ourdee - No pics of the bike while it was down. I had bigger things on my mind at the time. Like the fact that the BAS didn't kill the engine even though the bike was flat on it's side. I changed the oil ASAP after dropping her just to minimize any damage or increased wear that may have occurred while she was on her side and running. The fall didn't break anything on the bike or me, just put some scratches on the chin fairing, swingarm, and front brake lever. Thesmaz - SE part of the city. 44th & Sunnylane. When are you moving back? I'm always looking for other Buellers too! |

I dropped my 2008 ULY once and it also didn't stop running. I figured the angle wasn't enough since the engine case was resting on my FOOT at the time! (ouch.) |

If you didn't let it run for 10 minutes, I doubt it hurt anything inside. Glad it didn't break anything like a foot or finger. |
