things aren't looking good at this point with both Dana and Rocco dropping out. I hope there is one but I don't know who will take it and work as hard as those guys did to make it actually happen. This next year may be the first time in the last five years I didn't take my vacation around a Buell homecoming event. |

Maybe it'll be more like an official introduction party for the new Erik Buell Racing 1190RS. |

With the non-compete set to expire it would be a HUGE shame if it didn't happen. My wife and I went for the first time this year and had a blast! I shook Erik's hand and met some great people! BTW...I also met Froggy and can confirm he is not a ROBOT. |

With the non-compete set to expire it would be a HUGE shame if it didn't happen. According to several apparently posts on Badweb by people who should know, there ARE no non-compete agreements. Much of what's making the rounds on the 'net about that stuff is pure speculation. |

Not that I believe everything I read... Cycle World reported that one was in place without retraction. That is not internet chatter. |

Maybe won't be as organized as last year but I'll see you at Alpine Valley Resort in June for Beers. |

I'm not a fan of the Alpine Valley Resort. Our air conditioner sounded like a jet engine that was full of marbles all night, every night and they would not do anything about it. Besides, been there, done that, need to see something new. The best Homecoming we've been to was 3 years ago with a very nice motel with an awesome breakfast, bike cleaning area, and buses to Summerfest. Of course that was put on by Buell. I've been to 4 in a row. |

I'm not a big fan of Alpine either... my room was full of a bunch of drunks!

I'm there! Work/deployment made me miss 2009 and 2010....but I have learned my lesson. No longer will I allow something as trivial as a job get between me and Buell homecoming events!

2011 will happen, I guarantee it! What form it might take? That I don't know. |

We need a date. I am camping again, and hangin' at Gus's, and visiting Erik, and taking pics of Court's camera, and ridin', and yackin', and etc.

I'm going to make an effort and clear my schedule to attend in '11. That is of course if I can convince the boss two rides (have a group of 5 that's done a ride for the past 3 years - it's a thing) this year is good for my fragile mental health! |

The wisdom of years, miles and experience. It could not have been said any better. One key is to not get caught up in the "which year is better?" silliness. Dave and I have been to more than anyone and I feel comfortable saying there has never been a bad one. The Team last year hit it out of the park. I suspect that next year will be memorable. Call it a hunch. |

I am coming if I don't have any best friends dying like last year. |

I wouldn't mind it a bit if it were a camping based Homecoming. Two years ago at Homecoming my son and I camped at Whitewater Lake just east of East Troy. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=east+troy+wi&um=1&ie =UTF-8&hq=&hnear=East+Troy,+WI&gl=us&ei=K5KmTP2cKo KClAeDt6EX&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=image&resnum= 1&ved=0CCAQ8gEwAA |

Call it a hunch. I always get a little nervous when Court says things like that... +1 on the camping idea (he types as he starts preparing for Buelltoberfest at TWO...) |

well if there is going to be a 2011 homecoming, people had better get started on it soon. It's already October 1st and it takes awhile to get everything together. Didn't they start planning last year's homecoming around the end of October? |

Here is a camping theme variation. Everybody meet at a camping location in Wisconsin. Each day we ride to a new location. Do this for maybe 3 days and finally end up near East Troy. Each location would have to be visually spectacular of course. Maybe one of them might be next to Road America. |

Great idea Craig....do you think the campground locations can be Westin, Marriott, and Hilton?
