I have a '06 Uly and ECM spy and would like to lower the threshold that the fan turns on. Anyone know how? Thanks in advance. |

study the tuning guide very carefully and only when you really know what you are doing make the changes. You have to do it by modifyimg the proper hex values manually.... It's doable, but far from a point and click type of mod. |

it's actually pretty easy. find the tuning guide v2.0 in the guide, it calls out the cells that control fan on temps (key on and key off). i found that it required a bit of tweaking to get it to come on and off when i wanted it to.eg, you can't just set it to 0. (i don't think you can anyways.)i ended up with an off temp of 50, and an on temp of 120 (D not H). i found that this was a good temp to have the fan come on in the vegas heat. i didn't want it to be running when the heads were still cool to the touch. make sure to properly identify your build eg. bueixx etc. before you go canoodling around in there. good luck man. if you can't find the tuning guide, pm me and i'll get it over to you. Yes, it is easy. I did not mean to imply that it is not easy or that you should not attempt it. Simply that you should do your homework first. This line was more to my point:
