Guys, I just want to post a few pics of a 3 day trip that my four brothers and I took in August. Our group, The Mild Hogs, rode from LaCrosse WI to Duluth, MN and then up the North Shore Drive to Grand Marais, MN and back down through Wisconsin. We put on about 900 miles and had a great time! We all try to get together annually for a group ride and this is our 4th year of doing so. Not sure where we'll go next year. Thanks. The Oliver Bridge, train tracks on upper level, roadway on lower:
Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge:
Gooseberry Falls Bridge (What makes you think I like bridges?):
Grand Marais harbor:
Our bikes:
Larry, me, Steve, Ray and Dave:

Must have been boring riding with the Geezer glides!! When I'm with a group like that I take my Geezer glide just for that reason. Well, there are a couple of guys on Geezer glides I'd ride with but that's about it. Honestly it's the guy behind the handlebars that makes the difference, I just couldn't help myself! |

Must be nice taking a trip with your bros. One of my brothers rides but the other one quit years ago, probably because of his wife. Can't see the 3 of us on a motorcycle trip. One is always to busy making money and the other making excuses. |

Yes, it really is nice when we get together. We all get along great and understand each other very well. It is hard though, to schedule something like this as we all have families and job commitments. Also, one lives near Detroit, one near Milwaukee (and East Troy!) one in LaCrosse and two of us near Rochester, Mn. We all had dirt bikes as we grew up on the farm and our dad had motorcycles for years. I think he would still have one today if Mom would let him. In fact, one year Mom and Dad rode out to the west coast and the next year out to the east coast on their 82 Honda Gold Wing. I guess it is in our blood! Thanks. |

I find it difficult to ride with my brother, he seeks out and follows any and every posted speed limit. Even on back roads where no one has even seen the moss covered sign in years. I could only ride with him if I were riding a scooter that would not reach the speed limits, it drives me nuts to go 25 mph on a twisted road. Ah juss kahnt doet! |

Oops! I guess my last post is in there twice. Not sure how to delete one of them. Thanks. |
