The lug side is easy enough but what abou the other end? It seems pretty hard to get to. |

spark plug boot puller is key, to put that boot on. a 3' extension with a flex socket. a small hose section to start the plug in the hole, and you should be good. |

+ 1 on the plug boot puller... Don't do what I did and assume that a little tug on the wire will be alright to get the boot off... first thing you'll know is that the wire will come off, with the boot still on the plug. |

How difficult is it to change the spark plug wires? it's a pain in the ass! But if you follow Fung's instructions, it can be done. |

Not as hard as I thought it would be. Actually, I found the rear spark plug easier to do than the front. Just take it slowly, and you'll be fine. Someone here posted that the more rigid hose, used for water lines on refrigerators works better than fuel line to start the rear plug. I would agree with this. YMMV. |

A little dielectric grease on the new wire boots and make sure the're fully in the coil and on the plug. |

"spark plug boot puller is key, to put that boot on. a 3' extension with a flex socket. a small hose section to start the plug in the hole, and you should be good}" Could someone please elaborate on this? I did the rear plug replacement before, but not with complete confidence. Tried to use a short 5"ish boot puller, but it would not reach. Pulled the boot with a long needle nose plier which I knew was a dicey move. Then, when replacing boot, it did not feel snug. I'd like to get a puller that works or get a certain type of puller and modify as described above. Anyone have any suggestions? |
