I put some red reflective tape on "Silver" today. My goal going in was 90% safety 10% aesthetic appeal. Good thing I didn't have high hopes for the looks because IMO it doesn't look that great.. but will hopefully reduce the risk of a night time collision. How reflective is the tape? I dunno.. let's try some pictures with flash. I installed the LED tail/brake lights in the trunk case immediately after purchasing Silver. Another two rows of LEDs in the trunk illuminate when brakes are applied. And.. one last shot of what other motorists will see behind me at night.

Pkforbes 87, good idea taking into account all the knuckleheads talking and texting while driving! |

That texting while driving is going to kill me someday. I was riding next to a girl yesterday and watched her text a big long message without looking at the road once. I let her get ahead of me. She can rear end someone else. Good job on the reflective gear! |

Mine looks like this, but the two LED lights on either side of the license plate are overwhelmingly bright.
I placed a set of amber ones in the hand guards on the front.

I did what Wolfie did- 3M black on the plastic parts like the undertail and side vent covers. Works pretty well, invisible in daylight. |
