I've not seen a thing from 2010 Uly owners. Are there any out there? What's it like? |

IIRC, there's only a couple hundred out there total. I rode one when they came in...pretty nice. Dual 02 smoothed out the low RPM riding...but the Erik Buell Racing ECM did the same thing for my "beat, tired" '06 |

Hi Conchop, I had a very early model 06 Uly. Last Fall I bought a 2010 X model. Mine is serial number 95 and I saw posted somewhere that there were only 96 X models made for the 2010 model so I got one of the first Ulys and the second to last X model. The 2010 is basically the same bike but it is refined in a hundred ways. Fuel delivery is smoother, the bike seems a little stronger, smaller turning radius, no brake surge, better fit and finish. All in all the 2010 Uly is polished up nicely from where they started in 06. All of the details are refined and the overall product is much better. It is such a shame that Buell got shut down right when things were coming together. |

VIN has nothing to do with production number, the last one off the line could of ended with 28 for all we know. But yea, the 2010 is just a 2009 but with the improved rear wheel and dual O2 sensors for better fueling. |

Wind, thats funny, I have #94 on the '10. I picked it up beginning of June. It was used (titled) with 15 miles. Now have about 2,500 on it. Still have my '06 with close to 60K. I'd have to agree with your observations! It took a lot of tweaking to get my '06 running like it is today. The '10 is much better right out of the box. Lots of little things.. for ex. The plug on the fuel pump is a pain on the '06, but its been moved to under the seat on the '10. The battery ground under the seat has been moved so it is much easier to get to. Lots of small things like that... they may have been done on previous years, but I only have the '06 to compare it with it. |

I have a Black 2010 XB12XT #09 made 06/09 with only 2500 miles so far. It's so much better than my 07 XB12X . I heard that only 10 to 20 2010 XT's were sold in the USA ,does anyone know for sure how many 2010 XT's were sold in the USA ? I'm glad I got one of last one's made... |

I have # 36 2010 Bk XT now with 9k miles. was gonna add a pic but photobuckets down. Had a porous bolt that leaked oil when the bike was new, changed the rear tire @ 6500 miles and i just picked up a front tire. I stuck with the Pirelli Angels ,I'm very happy with them for my riding style. All and all a problem free 9k miles and many more to come. Before this i had a 06 X ,also had about 9k trouble free miles. |

You guys are SO making me wish I'd traded my 07 on a 2010 instead of buying a CR... |

I would take you up on that if I had a 2010 Uly. Never can have too many waterheads! |

Hi everybody, Mine is a 2010 XT, #49 of the European Model. I have about 4000 km on it so far - that's about 2500 miles. Got it in March, traded for my Honda CB1300. Nice discount thanks to the shut-down. What can I say about this bike ? It's simply the one bike that puts a smile on my face when I'm riding it. Only the Honda ST1300 did that before, but for different reasons. The Uly, especially in it's XT version looks to me as the true compromise between having fun on twisties and travelling with one's lady and luggage in comfort. I had bikes with bigger frames, like the ST1300 or the Honda Varadero, but the Uly suspensions are just as fine. I had bikes with more horsepower, like the CB1300, but the Uly is a lot funnier to ride, it's engine having such a character. Also, it's the first modern bike - i.e. with injection and ECM and the likes - that even I can work on for some nice farkles. A great bike, comfortable, well designed, well manufactured, simple to use and maintain. I'm sure glad I stepped inside the door of this HD dealer last March.

I have a 2010 12X, only have 500 plus miles on it, too busy with race team to ride much. Had a 06, really liked it. The 10 model, fuel injection-great! Like everyone else says it is just refined. Awesome bike! |

I was in Grand Rapids Michigan, (a week ago), They still had a brand new XP. It's Birch white, with only about 65 miles on it, but it has been dropped. Minor damage turn signal, and a few scratches. Probably get it for a song. They want to move it pretty badly. |

I'm sure glad I stepped inside the door of this HD dealer last March. I'm pretty sure that's the first time I have EVER heard that and knew the person wasn't being sarcastic! |

I have a 10 XT in black. The last three of my VIN are 170, if that is the number you guys are talking about. I have about 6300 miles on mine. Totally trouble free so far. And loving it. |

Sure would love that XP, would look just plain wonderful next to the XT. Could always ditch the house and get me a 30' trailer and park it out at my buddies... |
