I knew, that the way my day was going, I shouldn't have worked on the Uly today!!! Put in a new cooling fan and comfort kit today, besides all the other problems and mishaps, at the very end of reassembly the line to the rear preadjust knob seems to long and wants to kink if I try to make the bend! So, I loosened the banjo bolt, knowing full well it would be under pressure, and lost some shock oil!!! Still couldn't line up the preadjuster without kinking the line. HELP!!!!! Thanks, Jeff P.S. Anyone ever have to work with Grace ice and water shield, on a hot sunny day, by themselves? If you have, then you know how my day has been going! |

The line kinda goes in, then out through the notches. If it doesn't line up perfect it's okay. I did not take my preadjuster off. I used the EG method, and it worked great. |

Whisperstealth, I had my shock off for my cooling fan, and the line does go in and out of the notches. I took the rear fender off to look at the shock line and it seems like it's in the right place, but I don't recall how sharp of a bend it makes at the adjuster knob. |

I just loosened the fitting enough to swivel the pipe ... no oil spray, and re tightened. All was good. |

Garyt, That was my intentions, but took a bit to break the bolt loose. So, I assume yours didn't line up well either? |
