I was looking through the Ecmspy program and came acrossed a check box that said, Shut off fuel during deceleration. What is that for. Is this how they got 64mpg for the EPA estimate? |

Can't answer you directly on ECMSpy or the Uly, but in general, you are on the right track. Is this an on/off or a number? Typically, you can either shut the fuel off completely when off throttle (to save fuel), or leave just a little fuel on to lessen the compression braking feeling and reduce the perception of an abrupt throttle. I am talking general ECM calibration, not specific to Buell or ECMSpy. |

it is just a box to check, either yes or no. you cannot enter a value. Im gonna select it and see what happens, I can always put it back to stock later. |

I get 64mpg without enabling the decel fuel cutoff. I personally haven't tried it, but from what I've read it can cause problems with stalling at lower RPM's. I will get around to trying it eventually. |

I now can get 60+ mpg if I am easy with the right hand. The increased mileage happened at about 20,000 miles on the clock. The more I ride the happier I get!!!!!! I love my Buell! |
