I need to find some desert handguards and a desert camo flyscreen / windscreen. Short of finding one, anyone know the paint codes or a way to mimic the paint colors or have any suggestions? Thanks in advance Brian |

You could go to a store like Bass Pro Shops and get a camo kit for a rifle. They have lots of colors available. |

You could try a laminate. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=380252345705&crlp=1_263602_263622&ff4= 263602_263622&viewitem=&guid=889e4df11240a0b583d3f 8b3ffff4289&rvr_id=&ua=M*S%3F&itemid=380252345705 |

Camo is cool and all, but why would you want to make yourself blend into the background? When the driver that kills you says "I didn't see him.", the officer on the scene will say "No wonder." |

Kewl! How do they DO that, a dip? I can think of a few places & things. Stealth If Needing to be Seen to stay alive? I took a few Years off my life on a ride, Dove into a Shady series of corners by the riverbed, Optimum, right to the line & Dancin on iT. Met a Camoed little pick up going the otherway. Passed REAL Close, cause He snuck in on me, and I Over Committed, Thinking I had Clear road. One of those Stop & take a Break moments We All have if Lucky enough to. Not good Tactic's on the Street, if Survival is the goal. Kewl looking, Handy if Dodging Bullets, but Not Cages, driven by the Blind & Busy. Yer choice how many hazards to add.

Well...given the USMC part of his username, I think I've found the reason for his camo-desire Go for an urban camo color scheme - what's it, gray, black, and a bluish-purple? That way you get the effect without looking like one of the trees. Now, if you're just replacing items that were damaged somehow (looks like you have a camo bike already and just need some replacement parts) - get in touch with a sponsor/dealer and see if they can find part numbers for the replacement items. Anyone with the original kit part number and dealer access can do a "kit inquiry" on H-Dnet, which will bring up a list of all the individual items. Now...as to whether they're available anymore... |
