Local hd dealer says that I don't have a problem. They say these symptoms are normal. I got a hesitation from 1500 to 3400 rpm, also on deceleration it pops back through the exhaust,it did this with the factory muffler and the Jardine muffler the hd dealer installed. Can someone tell me if this is normal? |

In my experience, the popping through the exhaust on deceleration with the Jardine pipe is normal. It can be improved with fuel map tuning, but it won't go away. I installed the Jardine plug to lower the noise a bit and the popping went away. |

Get a race ECM from Erik Buell Racing, and all that will be a thing of the past. |

Froggy So a race ECM will plug and play with a 2009 XB12X with no issues? Fan and this and that will not change? I have the Special Opps Muffler, No K $ N or airbox mod. Is the Race ECM tunable or just pre set? All these damn QUESTIONS! HAhahaa. BDRAG |

Yes, when you order it, specify your year, bike, VIN, what exhaust you have (even stock), any other requests (low idle, different fan programming, etc) and they will ship you a ECM for your setup.

The $250 one is pre-set, but for $750 you get the tunable version and software so you can change it till your bike explodes. |
