I've been using ECM SPy for just a little while. Hooked it up to do a TPS reset and then started the bike to adjust the idle and noticed that the tachometer on the screen wasn't registering any rpm. The needle remained at zero, yet the tach on the bike was reading fine. I thought at first that maybe the link between the laptop and the bike was bad - but the program does the other stuff okay, like running various diagnostics. Any ideas? |

I have experienced the exact same thing. When I fetch eeprom and click the overview tab it's working momentarilly. Once the EEprom has been fetched from the bike it goes to zero. I go to ECM runtime and it shows my idle at a steady number. I have to constantly fetch my eeprom to get the new info. Like it's not in "real time" |

After you fetch an EEPROM it disconnects from the bike. Press the keys to reconnect. |

..and once you reset the TPS and AFV, it disconnects - hit the keys and it will reconnect. |
