Thanks those helped out a lot. I have the whole engine stripped down now. Doing a top end kit and inserting helicoils in both jugs.

I wonder how this happens? Spark plugs rattle loose after awhile and ruin the threads from flopping around?
Checking mine tomorrow to make sure they are snug. Weird.

I always put some anti-seize on the threads,might be a little more forgiving upon removal and installation..

Got the heads back they look great. Got some anti seize and connector silicone for the new plugs. Hopefully they wont budge now.
