I just found my bike tipped over in the parking lot at work. It's pretty windy outside. I'd say 40mph winds. Broke off the end of my brake lever and broke one of my tourtech handguard extensions. I do have bags on the bike. Can the wind actually push these beasts over? And I'll probably check out Americansportbike for some new levers. |

I was thinking that was more plausible. I am kind of curious on how the wind could high side a bike. It fell over on the right side! |

Was it on a slope? |

Stand on the left side of your bike. Place hand on side of frame. Push and note amount of force required to pick bike off kickstand to level. Repeat on right side. |

Either some idiot thought they could sit on your bike to "check it out" and dropped it or someone was f-ing with you. Any enemies? Someone gave me the advise to always leave the bike in first gear so it cant roll forward or incase someone decided to lean on it or sit on it for some reason and not knowing any better to make sure it is on it's side stand properly. If you are in a tourist trap, people think your bike is an attraction and have the right to take pictures next to or on any motorcycle that looks cool to them. People get this weird mentality that I don’t understand when they go on vacation. I doubt the wind high sided your bike. |

Could a 70 mph wind do it? I guess that's what they were rated at today. It was parked on a flat parking lot towards the end. Where I usually park. And fortunately - I don't have any enemies (that I know of) and I don't hate anyone either! Must of just been an accident. No tourists by my work either. |

70 mph! I'm pretty sure you've found your culprit. |

I was at work today and one of the guys that works at the same place i do rode his bike and its a big honda and it was on its side. So i would say that the wind did it. |

Yep - mine blew over in Millenocket Maine last month - 50mph gust, laid down on right side. Broke Parabellum windshield, turn sig and grrd up master cyl (cracked sight window) - JB weld saved the day. About $350. |

I have carribou bags mounted with the mount system. They are like roll cages for my bike! The right corner of the bag took the grunt of it. Nothing bent. Only have to replace my brake lever. I can jb weld the tourtech handguard extension |
