I was at the Rhinebeck NY vintage bike meet and came across this bit of Buell history.

MAN! I was there and didn't see it! I went on Sunday, got there about 10:00, and people were already packing up to leave. The weather scared off everyone I guess. Where was it? |

When you came threw the gate it was up to the left. We didn't get up there till later in the day. Great event (Rhinebeck). Lots of real neat vintage bikes, tractors, motors and lawn movers. I think the price was $20,000, compared to the MV Augusta for $131,000 it was a good deal! |

I saw one on Ebay not that long ago for $16k or similar, one day I will have one. My goal is to open the first ridable Buell museum with one of every model (hopefully without dents) |

There's a little museum in SoCA with some nice bikes and great roads to ride to get there, no RR1000 but one of these: http://www.motosolvang.com/bike_pages/1990_Buell_1 200RR.htm |
