The wife and I took a ride through Michaux today. Check out the stretch of 233 between 30 and 997. Stupid fun. (Message edited by ulyssesmatt on May 08, 2010) |

Riding the Uly from Dirty Jersey to Summit Point Raceway in Summit Point W.V. to watch some friends (I can't afford to) race in the CCS/ASRA races. Last year they had side-hacks racing and for $20 you could do a lap or two as the monkey at lunch-time. I think I'm gonna bring a twenty... |

Riding with some other folks from the Aviano, Italy HOG chapter over to the Rhone American Memorial Cemetery in southern France. We will be part of the annual ceremony and will be presenting a wreath in remembrance of the fallen. The Chapter does this every year at a one of the three Memorial Cemeteries that are withing one days ride. |

Hooperwife and I are headed to Point Reyes, CA for some R&R and to celebrate our 1st anniversary. I was going to tack on a few extra days for myself, rent a GS in San Francisco, and blast around the area, but it's a pricey enough trip without that. If I were staying in town (DC area), I would do Rolling Thunder again (but this time skip the Pentagon parking lot and just head out into VA for a ride). It is a sight to behold, cruising down the closed Capital Beltway in an endless line of bikes. |

I think I'll take the time to put tires on both Terri's Ss and my Norge. We'll want fresh rubber before we head out on a 7,000+ mile ride from the Atlantic to the Pacific and back. (Message edited by Crusty on May 15, 2010) |

Going to get do a tune-up for homecoming with my wife and daughter, so we're going to go to the Ozarks for the weekend. The plan is to do around 400 per day. We'll push it a bit for the Arkansas trip, but for homecoming I have my route planned going no more than 430 per day. That gives us plenty of time to smell the roses on the way up there. Wayne |
